This is War, Carrot Car!

So we were just relaxing on our trip to Seattle, when all of a sudden, this happened.  Kalyan, aka Slobber Sam, found a new way to spend time with Carrot.  Poor bunny.

Bath time!

Just had to upload this. I think we love K's baths more than he does!  What's particularly funny is the song we've come up with to entertain him when we give him a bath....or take him into the shower. It goes:

A shower and a bath.
A bath and a shower.
A shower and a bath.
A BATH and a shower.
A shower and a bath.
A bath and a SHOWWWWEERRRR!

The caps denote when our voices get really high and squeaky. He loves it, so I guess we've got the gift!

NJ Transit Meets K Man

Kalyan got to take the commuter train with Daddy last weekend (Nov. 19th, to be exact)! He enjoyed himself immensely, since he hasn't yet seen what it's like on a Monday morning!

Someone's growing....

From earlier this week at Papri Mashi's house. Time really is flying!!

Happy Halloween!

Mom and her friend Sarah were supposed to run the Hobooken 5k this past Saturday, but due to the freak blizzard, they stayed in and had brunch with their husbands and babies instead.  ;)  Kalyan and Penelope got in the spirit of things and the parents went on a frenzied photo session!

Kalyan's Whirlwind Trip...Finally!

Well, it took us a while to get organized, but we finally have some shots from the last couple of months.  Enjoy!!

Kalyan visited Papri Mashi, Uncle Wil, and cousin Wes for the first time back in August!  He was so content to chill out in Mashi's embrace!

When Kabi Kaku came to move Sharmi (Mishti Mashi) out of NJ in August, K got to spend some quality time with a new Dadu!!

Mommy's good friend Jessica has two gorgeous children, Zoe and Stephen.  Here's Zoe curling up with Kalyan on a very warm August day when we all decided it was better to stay in.  Zoe got to push K in his stroller and start explaining the what's what of  surviving being the child of singers!

Aunt Erin and Uncle Eben came to visit in October from Ohio.   Kalyan loved how fun and artistic and cool they both are!

Awake finally at 10:09 am.  Cleveland, here we come!

About ready to leave Ohio...

Kalyan made it to Ohio and has been hanging out with his grandparents.  (And giving his Mom & Dad a little break as well...

He's looking forward to a wedding this weekend in Cleveland and finally getting home to New Jersey.

And Kalyan has lots more pictures from his trip, but his favorite pictures are the ones with his mom.

And the Journey Begins..

We've got a lot more pictures to post, but need time to get them off our camera!  We made it to Chicago from NJ...13 hours of driving, but K Man was a dream. He slept most of the way, and it did help that we stopped about halfway in Youngstown.  He also did great at Dana and Ian's wedding!  Here he is being crazy at the hotel, and (gasp!) feeding himself. We're on our way to Fredericktown to see Grandma and Grandpa, so there will be plenty more photos to come!

Morning Fun!

Kalyan is up and traveling early this morning. He's happy to have his friends the butterfly and giraffe on the trip with him, and is ready for the day. Mommy and Daddy are not even close to being as bright eyed and bushy tailed at this hour!

I Wanna Carrot Car!

Finally, the bunny in the carrot car introduced himself to K earlier this week. He had befriended us at IKEA before K was born, but apparently had been feeling shy for the last three months.  Upon making the bunny's acquaintance, K promptly put the carrot car in his mouth. Giving Mommy a big grin, he squealed delightedly. We won't be surprised if K Man decides upon the most unusual of vehicles upon receiving his license.

Buckeye Boy

While mommy went to the city for work today, Daddy stayed at home to take care of me and he taught me some essential Ohio loyalty. We had a good day!

SHOTS!

Kalyan had his two month visit to Dr. Hermann today!  It was shot time, and he was so very brave.  Mommy was way more afraid of the whole experience than he was!  He and Daddy just relaxed and went with the flow while the nice and super efficient nurse did her job.  K got to sport some VERY hip band aids for his trouble:

K did let us know, however, that he is set with shots for a while (we didn't tell him he has to do it all over again in November! Shhh...), and that he'd much rather chew on his fist.  Oh, did we mention he's teething??

Bathing Beauty

Bathtime is fun time with Daddy. Last night, K decided to forego the bath pad and plunge right into the tub (with Daddy's help, of course)! It was the longest he's been in the tub, and the warm water and Daddy's laugh sure made for a good time! His parents aren't sure if he's ever looking back now that he's had a taste of a real bath, bubbles and all!
